PRIVACY AND PLANETHOTEL s.r.l.

In using and handling your personal details, Planethotel srl will fully respect the principles established to protect individual privacy:
  • in accordance with the Directive EC 95/46 and Law 675/96 protecting personal data;
  • and in accordance with the Directive EC 97/66 and Legislative Decree 171/98 safeguarding privacy in telecommunications;
  • as well as the Directive EC 97/7 and the Legislative Decree 185/99 protecting consumers in remote contacting. Planethotel srl shall treat any data you send, or any data however acquired in the performance of its services, according to procedures laid down to protect confidentiality. The handling of the data involves its collection, registration, organisation, storage, elaboration, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, diffusion, deletion, distribution, interconnection and any other such action which shall be useful in the pursuance of its services, including combinations of one or more of the above actions; such handling occurs in the following way and for t
  • he following ends:
    1) The collection and storage of your data in order to be able to provide our services, to check that they are true and also to furnish the judicial authorities with information we are asked to;
    2) The collection, storage and handling of your personal details for administrative and accounting purposes, including any sending of invoices by e-mail;
    3) The handling of your personal details and the data gathered from your visits to and interaction with Planethotel srl sites, for the purposes of establishing your situation and, only if requested by the judicial authorities, making it possible to determine the telephone number and the computer used to connect with our server;
    4) Transmission of your details to private individuals or bodies, only when you give your express consent;
    5) Free transmission of the newsletter;
    6) Supplying such free or paid for services that your expressly wish to have;
    7) The use of your personal details and profile in Planethotel srl's own promotional or marketing activities;
    8) The use of your personal details and profile in promotional or marketing activities carried out by Planethotel srl for third parties.
    We ask only for that information which is strictly necessary for the performance of our service. IN NO CASE SHALL WE COMMUNICATE OUR CUSTOMERS' PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES, except when the customers explicitly tell us to send the data required for subsequent contacts to the companies or persons seeking a job.

    This may occur both in the "seeking and offering jobs" service or in the "product information request" service.

    Your data will mainly be handled, for the above indicated purposes, automatically and by computerised information technology, while always observing the rules of confidentiality and security provided for in the law. The data will be handled by employees or professional persons, engaged by Planethotel srl, carrying out their work under the direct supervision and responsibility of Planethotel srl.

    You are free to choose whether or not to supply your personal details. If, however, you refuse to consent to the handling of your details for the purposes indicated at 1), 2), 3), 4), 5) and 6) above, you will not be able to register at Planethotel srl sites and so will not be able to access certain services, including the placing of ads, be entered in the list of suppliers or send and receive job offers.

    Refusing to consent to 7) and 8) above will not however involve any drawbacks as regards your registration.

    The person handling you data, for legal purposes, is Planethotel srl, whose place of business is at Via Terezin 11/p, 42100 Reggio Emilia.

    We also inform you that under the provisions of article 13 of Law 675/96 on the handling of personal data, every interested person has the right:
  • To gain access, free of charge, to the Registry indicated in article 13, paragraph 1 (a) of Law 675/96 to find out about any data being handled which may concern him;
  • To be informed about:
    a) The name, company name, fiscal domicile, residence and place of business of the person or legal person handling the data
    b) The manner the data is being handled
    c) The name, company name, fiscal domicile, residence and place of business of the person responsible for handling the data
    d) To obtain the following without delay from the owner or the person responsible:

    d1) Confirmation of the existence of personal data which regards him, even if not yet registered, and communication in an intelligible form of these data and of their origin, as well as the logic and aims on which the handling the data is based

    d2) The deletion or changing into anonymous form of any data handled in breach of the law, including data which does not need to be kept for the purposes for which the data were gathered or subsequently treated

    d3) The updating, correction or supplementing of the data

    d4) Certification that the operations under 3.2. and 3.3. were brought to the attention, also as regards their content, to the persons to whom the data were communicated or made available, except where this is impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate use of resources in relation to the right being protected.

    d5) To oppose, in whole or in part, and for legitimate reasons, the handling of personal data concerning him even where pertinent to the purposes for which they were gathered.

    d6) To oppose, in whole or in part, the handling of personal data concerning him, to be used for commercial information purposes or the sending of advertising or direct sales material or for the carrying out of market research or interactive commercial communications and to be informed by the person handling the data, and not after the time the data have been communicated or made distributed, of the possibility of freely exercising this right.

    For every request under paragraph 1, c) 1) the interested person may be asked for a contribution to expenses not greater than the expenses actually incurred, and in accordance with the manner and limits provided for in article 33, paragraph 3, where it is found that the data concerning him were found not to exist.

    The rights under paragraph 1 regarding personal data of deceased persons may be exercised by any interested person. In exercising the rights under paragraph 1, the interested person may grant a power of attorney in writing to persons or associations. The laws on professional confidentiality are not affected as regards journalists, in relation only to their news source. To exercise the rights under article 13 of the Law 675/96, summarise above, the interested person must send a written request to Planethotel srl, via Terezin 11/p, 42100 Reggio Emilia.
